So whether you are deciding what to buy yourself or you need a way to give a better hint to your significant other, read and share my list of great last minute Valentine’s gifts for her below:
If she’s a FITNESS freak: The Barbella Box is an awesome gift that you can make a one time purchase of or start a monthly subscription for her! It includes fitness gear and products that will help her strength gains and make her look better in a bikini- which is a win for her and for you!
Another option for a fit chick is the ever popular and so worth it, Wunder Unders from Lululemon. While they are pretty pricey, these leggings are great quality and make the booty look nice!
If she’s a FASHIONISTA: You can’t go wrong with a trip to your local Sunglass Hut or department store to pick up these bad boys. Ray-Bans are always in style and these are so classic that few women would turn them down!
If she’s a THOUGHTFUL girl, this Pinterest inspired gift might be perfect and also ridiculously inexpensive! Purchase a mason jar, some ribbon, and paper, and place little notes inside that say all the reasons you love her. You might want to have a tissue near as well because this is sure to bring on the water works!
And last but not least, if you are dating a BASIC chick, its safe to say a Starbucks giftcard, Uggs, or a selfie stick would probably make your lady jump for joy! I don’t know what is more basic than that.
Happy Valentine’s Day!

Knowing you put a little thought behind your gift makes a difference, no matter how much you spend. Now get out there and finish up that holiday shopping!
I love to dress up! Dressing up always makes me feel fabulous and sassy, but there are times when I just want to be casual and comfortable too.
While I would love to live in sweats and Ugg boots some days, if I want to leave the house, I try to make a little more effort in my attire. Above, I paired basic pieces to create a look that was super comfortable and still stylish. If you remember from this post, I am a fan of combining warmth, style, and comfort!
By pulling together basics like a long sleeve tee, a monogrammed fleece vest, and jeans, you immediately have an easy outfit that you can style up with booties, a fun handbag, and festive scarf.

What is your go-to weekend look? Are you casual or dressy? Let me know!
Its officially the Holly-day season!! See what I did there?!
But seriously, with lots of events and parties to attend along with the gift shopping, wallets can get tight really fast! We all want to look our best without going over our budget.
In thinking about holiday looks for the fashion conscious girl, I wanted to create two looks that were stylish and chic and wouldn’t break the bank!
This two part series starts with a look that I created from items I already had in my closet!
My advice for an easy, festive outfit is as follows:
- Pattern: find an article of clothing that has a wintry or holiday pattern as your centerpiece. I went with a subtle houndstooth skirt with a faux leather trim to start.
- Color: add a pop of red or green (and don’t worry about the traditional shades- branch out like my burgundy top!)
- Bling: fun jewelry and accessories can make or break an outfit! Add a few pieces that really stand out!
- Heels: and last but certainly not least, slip on a pair of sassy heels and your confidence will make you the star of the party! Not into heels? Try a sparkly or patent leather flat to jazz up your style.
Most of these items are things that you probably already have in your closet! Take a look around and see what you can create. I bet you will surprise yourself and style the perfect Holly-day outfit!

As the temperature gets cooler, we often find ourselves choosing warmth over style. I am guilty of this myself, but when I find a stylish piece of fall and winter gear that also keeps me warm, I don’t hesitate in making a purchase!
This faux fur and chunky knit wrap is going to be put on repeat the next few months! It is so warm and cozy, and I bet you won’t believe I bought it at Target! It is great quality for the price tag of about $40!
Wraps and ponchos are pieces that are easily incorporated into your closet because you can pair them with basics that you already own. Putting a fun printed wrap over a turtleneck or long sleeve shirt gives a nice layered look that will seem like you put much more effort into planning your outfit than you really did! You can always belt your wrap to accentuate your waist and have a more polished look too!
Here are a few other wraps and ponchos that I love: French Connection / Chip & Pepper / Merona

And special thanks to my beautiful mother who took these pics! We are learning how to use my new dslr camera, so bear with us as we embark on this journey together.
